In the Bill of Rights, it states all people have inalienable rights that are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Pursuit of Happiness... Pursuit of Happiness... How can I not interpret this as everyone has the right to be happy? Which means getting married, owning a house together, adopting kids/having kids.... the list goes on.
